Luciana Cacciottola earned her medical degree from the Università degli Studi di Milano in 2012. She completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2018, with a thesis entitled: "In vivo characterization of metabolic activity and oxidative stress in grafted human ovarian tissue using microdialysis". In 2018 she started her PhD in the Gynecology Research Unit, in Institute de Recherche Expérimentale et Clinique in Brussels, with a scholarship awarded from FNSR-FRIA. Her research focuses on human ovarian tissue transplantation improvement using regenerative medicine techniques.
