Dr. Stefania Cella is an assistant professor and the director of the Observatory on Eating Disorders (OED) at the Department of Psychology, University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli". In 2010, she earned her Ph.D. in Parenthood Process at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. She has a broad background in clinical psychology, with specific expertise in eating disorders. She also successfully collaborated with national and international research groups, producing several peer-reviewed publications. Currently, she works as a psychotherapist and a psychoanalyst in clinical/counselling university services. Her training as a psychoanalyst (associate member of the International Psychoanalytical Association) allows her to contribute a unique perspective to understanding human behavior and eating disorders.
