Prof. Enza Lacivita earned her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry in 2001, focusing on the development of 5-HT1A receptor ligands at the University of Bari Aldo Moro. She was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in 2005 and later promoted to Associate Professor in 2017 in the Department of Pharmacy—Drug Science at the same university. Prof. Lacivita has published over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals, concentrating on the development of selective ligands for GPCRs involved in neuropsychiatric disorders and neuroinflammation.
