D. K. Chellappan completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Manipal University, India, in 2009. Prior to that, he did a Masters in Pharmacy at the same university, and before that completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2000. He has also worked on several research projects, especially in the field of diabetes and treatment for diabetes. In addition, he has published more than 60 publications in reputed national and international research journals. Finally, he has also presented a number of papers at conferences.
