Andrea Barbarossa, associate professor in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology at the University of Bologna, Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna in 2008, Doctorate in Food science, animal nutrition and food safety at the University of Bologna in 2012. Previous work experiences as postdoc researcher at the University of Bologna. Research topics include development of analytical methods in chromatography-mass spectrometry for drug and contaminants detection in biological matrices, pharmacokinetics studies in animals, TDM approaches in animal species. Member of the European Association of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (EAVPT) and of the Italian Society of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (SIFTVet).
