Laura Rosique holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (2006) and a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences (2010). Since 2012, she has been part of the National Commission for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (CONABIO). She also teaches at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has extensive experience in the analysis and processing of remote sensing data and in situ information, as well as in the evaluation of digital image processing algorithms applied to coastal and marine ecosystems. Her work also includes geospatial analysis aimed at generating information that supports the integration and operation of geographic information systems to produce knowledge on biodiversity, fostering its conservation and sustainable use for the benefit of society.
