Prof. Dr. Eng. Dr. Ec. Dr. Habil. Aurel Mihail TITU, Dr.h.c. is full professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, and PhD supervisor at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (2017-present). He is Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (1999), Ph.D. in Management (2007), at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. He is PATLIB Expert, Level 3, accredited by the European Patent Office (EPO), an intellectual property expert, and a Designated Ambassador of Innovation for Europe and Asia. Since 2010, he is Director of the Regional Center for Promotion of Industrial Property Protection at the Romania State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) and EPO (PATLIB Center of Sibiu). He is also the President of the Romanian Association for Alternative Technologies Sibiu (A.R.T.A. Sibiu). He is corresponding member of the Romanian Academy of Scientists (AOSR), a co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Nonconventional Technologies Review, Editor-in-chief of the Annals–Series on Economy, Law and Sociology, Editor of Management of Sustainable Development Review, Editor and co-founder of the Journal of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control and Computer Science, and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Mechatronics and Applied Mechanics. Interests: intellectual property protection management, quality management, knowledge management, designing devices, and nonconventional technologies.
