Aijun Gong is Professor at the School of Chemistry and Biological Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing. He completed his PhD studies in Eco-Environmental Sciences at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a Member of the Academic Committee of Physical and Chemical Inspection of the Chinese Society of Non-ferrous Metals; a member of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Biochemical Testing and a member of the Organizing Committee of Beijing University Chemical Experiment Competition. Prof. Gong’s research interests mainly include pollutant detection, environmental behavior and degradation mechanisms, rare earth extraction and separation, metal antiseptic functional materials, and clean production technology for solid waste resource utilization.
