Wenbai Chen was born in Guang’an, Sichuang, China, in 1975. He received a B.S. degree from Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao in 1997, an M.S. degree from Yanshan University in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2011. He is currently a Professor at the Automation College of Beijing Information Science and Technology University. He is also a director of the China Artificial Intelligence Society, deputy director of the Youth Work Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Society, a member of the Expert Committee of Tsinghua University Press, and a member of the Expert Committee of the Higher Education Intelligent Science and Technology Professional Textbook Series of Xidian University Press. His research interests include intelligent detection technology, sensor networks, and mobile robot control.
