Professor Ilhan Inci is a thoracic surgeon at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland. He is an author of over 115 original publications, multiple reviews, and book chapters. He gave more than 30 invited lectures. He was the national representative (Registrar) of Switzerland in ESTS between 2014 and 2018. He is one of the initiators and the first chair of the Lung Transplant Working Group in ESTS. He is a member of the Donation after Cardiac Death Working Group in Swisstransplant. He is responsible for the lung transplantation program in his department. Professor Inci is a Fellow of ACCP and a Fellow of EBTS. He is a member of the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, The Swiss Society of Thoracic Surgery, and a scientific member of The Swiss Transplantation Society.
