Dr. Lotfi Bin Dahman is an Associate Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Senior Consultant in Clinical Chemistry with over a decade of combined academic, clinical, and research experience. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Assiut University through a joint supervision program with King Saud University (2008–2013), where he also served as a researcher at the Obesity Research Center, contributing to multidisciplinary research in metabolic disorders. He is currently the Head of the Laboratory Medicine Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Hadhramout University, and a Senior Consultant at Hadhramout University Hospital (since 2022). In addition, he has been serving as the Director of the International Cooperation and University Ranking Center at Hadhramout University since 2018, leading institutional efforts in internationalization, strategic partnerships, and global ranking performance. Dr. Bin Dahman has extensive experience in academic development, curriculum modernization, and strengthening academia–industry collaboration, particularly in the fields of laboratory medicine and health sciences. He actively contributes to capacity-building initiatives, quality assurance, and the alignment of higher education outcomes with labor market needs—key priorities in international projects such as Erasmus.
