Wensheng Wang is a researcher at the Institute of Crop Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He studied for his bachelor's degree in agronomy (1999–2003) and his master's degree in crop genetic breeding (2003–2006) at the Agricultural University of Hebei. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2011. His research direction mainly focuses on genomic analysis of rice germplasm resources, mining of resistance-related genes, functional validation, and molecular breeding.
