Since 2010, Marta Sandoval Mena has been an Associate Professor at the Teacher Training and Education Faculty at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain). Previously, she worked as a special education teacher and counselor for ten years at various primary and secondary schools in Madrid. Her research focuses on Inclusive Education and how support teachers, co-teaching, and students’ voices can help improve schools in an inclusive manner. She has participated in several European research projects and is a Spanish consultant for the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education.
