Despite the development of various technologies and systems using artificial intelligence (AI) to solve problems related to disasters, difficult challenges are still being encountered. Data are the foundation to solving diverse disaster problems using AI, big data analysis, and so on. Therefore, we must focus on these various data. Disaster data depend on the domain by disaster type and include heterogeneous data and lack interoperability. In particular, in the case of open data related to disasters, there are several issues, where the source and format of data are different because various data are collected by different organizations. Moreover, the vocabularies used for each domain are inconsistent. This study proposes a knowledge graph to resolve the heterogeneity among various disaster data and provide interoperability among domains. Among disaster domains, we describe the knowledge graph for flooding disasters using Korean open datasets and cross-domain knowledge graphs. Furthermore, the proposed knowledge graph is used to assist, solve, and manage disaster problems.

Recent development in information technology has changed the distribution system for agri-food products. Along with the development in agri-food products, it became necessary to develop an e-commerce system that allows customers to search information about and purchase agri-food products. For the purpose, this study developed a virtual store where customers can purchase agri-food products using smartphones and mobile devices. To development of mobile based virtual store with agri-food ICT convergence—integration (1) implement of agri-food products display, (2) construction of code interface for devices and connected products, (3) development of Service Platform and (4) implementation of 3D content creation system.

With advancement in information technologies and a better mobile environment, virtual and personal research environments can be made available for researchers. On the other hand, as more investment is being made in R&D, the efforts to enhance R&D productivity are becoming important. This study proposes a conceptual design of network-based personalized research environment that is called NePRE for developing the tool to assist researchers in their R&D efforts. It can be more easily utilized by researchers in their R&D information activities. To do this, we analyze existing research support environments in terms of R&D information activities. And we also analyze changes of information environment in terms of personalization. Subsequently we define three design principles of NePRE for personalization. Finally we define its key functions to assist researchers with respect to six R&D information activities.
