I started my research career with a pre-doctoral fellowship of the Ministry of Education and Science, carrying out my doctoral thesis: "Effect of spermine and abscisic acid on gene expression in embryos isolated from seeds of chickpea (Cicer arietinum)" (University of Granada, Spain). I have published seven articles in Phytochemistry, Physiology Plantarum, Journal Plant Physiology, and Plant Science. I obtained a post-doctoral fellowship where I continued working with biotechnological growth regulators in tobacco plants (University of Bologna, Italy). I have participated in 30 national and international conferences and six research projects (R&D) in Innovation, Science and Technology. In recent years, my line of research has focused on the study of the tolerance mechanisms of salinity in halophytes and their relationship with growth regulators. I have published nine articles in recent years in JCR journals such as Journal of Plant Nutrition, Biologia Plantarum, Flora, Frontier in Plant Science, Cells, and Agronomy.
