Nevena Lj. Stevanovic was born on December 24, 1993 in Jagodina. She is a PhD student and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac. Her main research interests lie in the field of Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry. Her research has been focused on the synthesis of various transition metal complexes with the clinically used antimicrobial agents, their characterization by different spectroscopic, crystallographic and electrochemical methods, as well as evaluation of antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities of the synthesized metal complexes for their potential use in medicine. She is also interested in investigation of interactions of metal complexes with biologically important molecules, including proteins and nucleic acids.
