Dr. Mick Welling

I am a senior scientist with a proven track record in pre-clinical development of tracers in multimodal molecular imaging of infections, (neuro)inflammatory processes and oncological moieties. I am committed to developing pre-clinical models and imaging with innovative tracers based on supramolecular interactions and click chemistry, with an emphasis on translating such developments to the clinic. Over the years I have built a broad and international network in different fields of science. As a recognized advisor for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) I have successfully participated in three international Coordinated Research Projects and have been on several international Expert Missions for the IAEA as a Scientific Advisor & Trainer of professionals.
