Wenji Zhang, Ph.D. in biomedicine, research assistant，graduated from Jinan University in Guangzhou, China. Now She works in tea and Health Laboratory, Tea Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guangzhou, China. She is mainly engaged in the research on the mechanism of medicinal and food-related plants and their active ingredients on human metabolic syndrome and anti-cancer effects. As the first author, she has published articles in the top journals of Trends in Food Science & Technology, Cancer Letters, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, etc. She is now responsible for one project of the National Natural Science Foundation for Youth (NO. 81903319). Ever she won the scholarship of China Scholarship Council and studied in Indiana University Medical School for 19 months in United States.
