Prof. Dr. Guiying Li is a professor
at the Key Laboratory for Molecular Enzymology and Engineering of the Ministry
of Education, School of Life Sciences, Jilin University. He completed his BS.c.
studies in Agronomy at Hebei Normal University of Science & Technology from
1982 to 1986, MS.c. studies in Plant Genetics and Breeding at Henan Academy of
Agricultural Sciences from 1986 to 1989 and Ph.D. studies in Biophysics at the
Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from 1995 to 1998.
His research interests include Crop Genetics and Breeding, Sorghum Breeding and
Bioenergy.
