Fei Yang is a professor at the School of Public Health, University of South China. He is a national high-level young talent, a Hunan young scientific and technological innovation talent, a Hunan Excellent Youth, and a Hunan Young Key Teacher. His research focuses on the health hazards of typical environmental pollution and its biological control. He graduated from the Department of Preventive Medicine, School of Public Health, Southeast University with a bachelor’s degree in medicine in 2008. He received master’s and doctoral degrees in the Department of Labor Health and Environmental Health, School of Public Health, Southeast University between 2008 and 2011. From 2011 to 2012, he was jointly trained as a doctor at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Pennsylvania State University. Since March 2014, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research at Xiangya School of Public Health, Central South University (from 2014 to 2018, he was a postdoctoral fellow in epidemiology and statistics at Xiangya School of Public Health, Central South University). In 2015, he was promoted to associate professor by exception. He is the deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Ecological Health and Prevention and Control of Important Human Diseases and a key member of the Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Water Environment and Agricultural Product Safety and Typical Environmental Pollution and Health Hazards.
