Prof. Dr. Chunmei Li currently works as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Nanjing Agriculture University. She obtained a Ph.D. in Basic Veterinary Medicine at Gifu University, Japan, and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan. She was a JSPS Researcher at the National Institute for Environmental Studies, Japan, from 2007 to 2009. Her professional fields are animal nutrition and feed science, and animal production. Her research directions are livestock and poultry environment and health; farming environment monitoring and control; animal environmental physiology and nutritional regulation. She is the Vice-Chairman (and Deputy Secretary-General) of the Environmental Health Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Director of the Livestock Ecology Society of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Director of the Animal Welfare and Healthy Breeding Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and Standing Committee Member of the Feed Toxicology Committee of the Chinese Society of Toxicology.
