Catarina Amorim (CA) holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry (2005) and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology with a specialization in Environmental Science and Engineering (2013). Since 2025, she is Assistant Researcher at UCP-CBQF, developing her work within the Environmental and Resources thematic line. CLAmorim research interests include: (i) the application of the granular sludge technology based on microalgae and/or bacteria for wastewater treatment and valorization; (ii) bioaugmentation processes; (iii) adsorption-based processes; (iv) microbiome functional dynamics.
