Prof. Rao’s research is highly interdisciplinary, and covers liquid metals, micro/nanomaterials, and bioheat transfer. She is dedicated to explore advanced research in liquid metal materials and introduce frontier micro/nanotechnology into cryomedicine and related areas to achieve precise controllability of temperature distributions. Prof. Rao has published more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals such as ACS Nano, Materials Horizons, and Applied Physics Letter.
