Aldo Jonathan Munoz-Vazquez received the M.Sc. and D.Sc. Degrees in Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV), Saltillo Campus, Mexico, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. Since the Fall Semester 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor of Instruction of the Texas A&M University, in the Higher Education Center at McAllen, Texas, USA. He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Control, Automation and Systems. His research interests include fractional-order control, sliding mode control, and modelling and control of mechatronic systems.
