Rusen Yang is currently a professor atthe School of Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Xidian University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007, where he continued as a Post-Doctoral Associate. He has discovered novel nanostructures, such as ZnO, SnO2, and Zn3P2, and investigated their application potentials. His most recent work on an energy harvester based on piezoelectric nanomaterials made a significant contribution to the field of renewable energy.
