Biography
I started my career as demonstrator in Pharmacognosy department, faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. I received my master degree working on natural products in some lilaceous plants in 1982. I received my PhD degree from Department of Medicinal Chemistry College of Pharmacy, University of Minnesota in 1989 in microbial transformation of flavonoids. I was promoted to assistant professor in 2000 and full professor in 2007. I have had over seventy publications most of them in international Journals
