Vasileios Kamperidis is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Medical School of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, specializing in cardiac imaging. He has been awarded an MSc in Echocardiography from Imperial College London and two PhDs, one from Aristotle University Thessaloniki on transcatheter treatment of aortic stenosis and one from Leiden University, the Netherlands on valvular heart disease study with advanced echo and cardiac CT. He holds all three ESC accreditations of echo (TTE, TEE, Congenital) and SCCT level 3 accreditation. He has been awarded an ESC and an EACVI grant for his research in LUMC. He is the author of >115 cardiology papers (h-index 31), has presented his research results in >90 congresses and has been invited as a speaker in >80 cardiology congresses. He has been announced as FESC and FEACVI.
