Shouki A. Ebad is a Professor in the Center for Scientific Research and Entrepreneurship at Northern Border University (NBU) in Saudi Arabia. He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), KSA, in 2012. Since joining NBU in August 2012, Shouki has been teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of software engineering, cybersecurity, information systems design & analysis, OO programming, and graduation projects. Prior to joining NBU, Shouki worked for ten years as a Lecturer in a number of governmental universities. He also held several positions: Research Assistant, Head of Department, and Vice Dean. Shouki is a J2SE and PCEP certified programmer for the Java 2 platform and Python, respectively. He also served as an Assistant Dean for Technical Affairs at IT Deanship at NBU for some years. He has several years of industrial experience in (a) supervision and managing tens of ICT projects, and (2) consulting services to major industrial organizations. His current research interests include software engineering, software quality assurance, software security, and IT project management. He published a number of technical papers in refereed journals and conferences in these areas. Shouki has been working as a reviewer for several high-quality journals, and a PC member at some conferences and workshops.
