Prof Jean-Pierre Y. Scheerlinck (MSc, PhD), studied at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). He has worked at the International Livestock Research Institute (Kenya), the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (Australia), CSIRO (Australia), and the University of Melbourne (Australia). He is currently an Honorary Professor in Biotechnology at the Melbourne Veterinary School, Faculty of Sciences, within the University of Melbourne. His research interests include immunology, biotechnology, biomedicine, and agricultural sciences.
