Margarita Dodevska is employed at the “Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut” Institute of Public Health of Serbia, Belgrade. She received her Ph.D. in the Department of Bromatology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, and earned her scientific title: Research Associate. Her research interests are dietary intervention in reducing the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome; the impact of fiber on health promotion and reducing the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases; assessment of nutrient intake as well as the monitoring of physiological, biochemical, and health effects of individual food ingredients; food chemistry and dietary products; and food safety/food contact materials.
