Luca Farina is a chemist and researcher in the nuclear department of ENEA. He has consolidated academic experience in several branches of chemistry and physiochemistry. His experiences include heterogeneous catalysis technology, the study of biological systems for biofuel production, energy storage in electrochemical devices, and using secondary raw materials. Since 1 February 2019, he has been involved in the agency's activities within the fusion fuel cycle. Among the various research activities carried out by the agency are the reforming processes on carbon-based materials and the study of new technologies for green hydrogen production. Accredited by the national authority ANAC, he provides support in project management in public administration, and finally, he also deals with academic training through the supervision of master's theses in engineering and chemistry at the universities Sapienza and Tor Vergata.
