Baohong Wang received her Ph.D. from the Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. From her doctoral work, she developed this long-term interest in symbiotic gut microbes in health and liver disease. Currently, she is a research PI in the national collaborative innovation center for Diagnosis and Treatment of the infectious diseases at the first affiliated hospital of medical school, Zhejiang University, where she is in charge of Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (NO. R16H260001), National Science Foundation for Young Scientists of China (NO. 30901190), the National Key&D program of China (2021YFA1301001), Natural Science Foundation of China (82170668). She is also a guest editor of Journal Engineering (IF 12.8) and an editor board member of Journal Infectious Microbes & Diseases.
