graduated with a specialization in medical physics at the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Informatics of Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Poland (2003). Her research interests focus on the influence of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) on organisms, particularly the neurobiological effects (subject of Ph.D., 2008) as well as on the medical application of EMFs. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Animal Physiology and Neurobiology, Faculty of Biological and Veterinary Sciences (NCU) where she conducts comprehensive experiments on EMFs influence on various levels of the organization, from whole organisms to single cells. She is a member of the Polish Radiation Research Society and the Polish Society of Applied Electromagnetics.
