Miha Ocvirk is a researcher at Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing. He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Maribor in 2012 and received his PhD in Bioscience at the University of Ljubljana in 2018. After completing his PhD, he started working at Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing as a researcher in the field of agrochemistry and brewing. His research work includes physico-chemical analysis of food and environmental samples, food authenticity and brewing technology. He is a member of the Working Group on Environmental Fate and behaviour of plant protection products and active substances at EFSA.
