Dora Teixeira is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Faculty of Science and Technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry, a master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, and a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Évora. During her more than 30-year academic career, she has held several university management positions at the University of Évora, namely Associate Chair of the Department of Chemistry (2013–2015), Chair of the Faculty of Science and Technology Teaching Committee (2013–2019), and Pro-Rector. Her research interests include analytical chemistry (chromatography); archaeometry; agricultural chemistry; and environmental chemistry.
