Dr Srinivas Mutalik is Professor and Principal at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal. He completed a Ph.D. in 2004 from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, followed by industry experience in Strides Arcolab Bangalore in R&D Department as a Team Leader. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia, for 3 years. He was a Visiting Researcher at A-Star Institute, Singapore, in 2016. He is a member of various Professional Associations and received various research grants from funding agencies such as DBT, DST, ICMR, SERB, VGST, BIRAC, BRNS, and pharmaceutical companies. He has authored about 230 publications, 13 patents, and various conference presentations. His research interests include the development and evaluation of specialized pharmaceuticals, novel drug-delivery systems, targeted drug-delivery systems, and nanomedicine.
