Dr. Xiaoli Yan is an Associate Professor at the College of Forestry, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Changchun Normal University in 2008, her Master’s degree in Silviculture from Guizhou University in 2011, and her Ph.D. in Silviculture from Beijing Forestry University in 2016. During her doctoral studies, she was funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to study for a year at the Department of Forest Resources of the University of Georgia in the United States. She is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in tree physiological ecology, artificial forest cultivation, and the development, utilization and protection of forest health resources. She has presided over and participated in the research of many scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Postdoctoral Science Foundation. In 2020, she was selected into the Outstanding Young Scientific Research Talent Program of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and in 2023, she was selected into the "Hundred Climbing" training program of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.
