Biography

I was Honored Doctoral Degree after successful completion of my PhD Research Titled: "Functional Analysis of Carotenoids Biosynthesis Genes in Sweetpotato Ipomoea batatas" at the Laboratory of Plant Gene Function, Division of Sciences for Biofunction Development, Graduate School of Bioresources and Environmental Sciences, Research Institute for Bioresources and Biotechnology, Ishikawa Prefectural University Japan in 2017. I have 5 years of experience in teaching and research supervision at the undergraduate and graduate level. I have completed one research project funded by HEC Pakistan under SRGP Program. Recently, I won a research grant of PKR 8.1 million under the HEC, NRPU Program. My research interests are based on pure and applied molecular biotechnology/molecular biology techniques to synthesize nutritionally, medicinally, and commercially high-Value biotech products using bacteria and plants as molecular factories. My core area of interest is synthesizing and engineering carotenoids and other secondary metabolites especially the isoprenoids and enzymes which have a high economic impact on nutritional, pharmaceutical, and other inter-related industries such as cosmetics, agriculture, aquaculture Industries, etc.
