Dr. Tomáš Etrych is a research professor, head of the Center of Biomacromolecular and Bioanalogous Systems and head of the Department of Biomedical Polymers at the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 175 papers in reputed international journals, which have been cited over 5900 times. His h-index is 44. His lab is developing novel polymer-based nanomedicines intended for the treatment of malignant and inflammatory diseases and bacterial infections. His research also focuses on the application of the polymer-based diagnostics and theragnostics in advanced surgical and therapeutic applications.
