Xiulin Ji holds the position of Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering, Shantou University, specializing in surface technology and tribology. He graduated from Southeast University in 2008 with a major in materials science and received a doctorate in engineering. Currently, he serves as the director of the Materials Engineering Branch of the Jiangsu Mechanical Engineering Society and holds memberships in esteemed organizations, including being a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a member of the American Society of Friction, Wear and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), and a member of the Standards Preparation Committee of the China Dredging Association. Furthermore, Xiulin Ji is actively involved in editorial roles for academic journals such as Material Protection, Nonferrous Metal Science and Engineering, and Surface Science & Technology, and also serves as a Guest Editor for Lubricants.
