Prof. Davide Maria Donati is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, affiliated as Medical Director at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute. He obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna in 1983. His research interests include malignant tumors of the bone and soft tissue: osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma, chondrosarcoma, liposarcoma, soft tissue sarcoma, etc.; benign tumors of the bone and soft tissue: lipoma, atypical lipomatous tumor, myxoma, chondroma, exostosis, etc.; pseudo-tumoral lesions: simple bone cyst, aneurysmal cyst, fibrous dysplasia, development of custom-made prostheses for the treatment of osteochondral lesions of the knee, development of custom-made pelvic prostheses for the reconstruction of malignant lesions of the pelvis.
