Graduated in Geology - University of Yaoundé I - Cameroon (1990); Ph.D. (Sedimentology) - University of Perpignan-France (1996). Ngueutchoua Gabriel currently works at the Département des Sciences de la Terre, University of Yaoundé I. Ngueutchoua and his research team do research in sedimentology and sedimentary geochemistry. Their current projects are: “petrology, mineralogy, geochemistry, and geochronology of stream sediments (Cameroonian river drainage basins), beach sediments (Gulf of Guinea beach), and sediments from Mamfe and Douala-Kribi-Campo-basins (SW Cameroon): Constraints on provenance, tectonic environment and source rock weathering”.
