Dmitry Golovanov received the Ph.D. degree in superconducting electrical machines from Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow, Russia, in 2011.,He has an experience of working in industry as a Researcher in VNIIEM Corporation JSC, Russia, in the field of design of electrical machines and in Samsung SDI, South Korea, in the field of Li-ion batteries. He is currently a Research Fellow in the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K. His main research interests include high power density electric machines for aerospace and automotive industry application, and superconducting electrical machines.
