Prof. Dr. Hassan M. Awad

Dr. Awad is currently Professor Dr. in Chemistry of Natural and Microbial Products Dept., Pharmaceutical and Drug Industries Research Institute, National Research Center (NRC), Dokki, Giza, Egypt. During 1/10/2015-30/9/2016 he joined as Associate Professor of Biochemistry in Deanship of Preparatory Year, Al jouf University, Al Jouf, Skaka P.O.Box 2014, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the academic year 2015/2016. Before joining the Al jouf University, he was Associate Professor in Chemistry of Natural and Microbial Products Dept., Pharmaceutical Industries Div., National Research Center (NRC), Dokki, Giza, Egypt P.O. Box: 12622 from 9-9-2013 till now. Before joining NRC he was Senior lecturer at Institute of Bioproduct Development (Formerly known as CEPP) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) from 1-6-2009 to 31-12-2012. Dr. Awad received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD in Biochemistry (Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Egypt). He established many research for the production of many microbial metabolites through fermentation at shake flask and bioreactor level. His research field expertise is: Selective isolation and complete identification of microorganisms by different methods (using conventional method and molecular biology methods).Fermentation production of antibiotics and enzymes at shake flask and bioreactor level.
