I have always had a fascination for science and this has greatly influenced my life choices so far. My curiosity led me to choose a master’s degree in Medical, Veterinary and Forensic Biotechnological Sciences, which enabled me to develop skills in several different fields of study. I moved to Scotland to undertake an Erasmus Traineeship project at the Centre for Virus Research of Glasgow in order to gain further experience in an area of Microbiology that has had my attention and fascination: Virology. Currently I am a PhD student at University of Palermo - RiMed foundation.
