Prefabricated building is an efficient building mode. Compared with the traditional building mode, the prefabricated building has advantages of less pollution, high construction efficiency, being more labor-saving, and economy, which is in line with China’s sustainable development strategy. This paper proposes a supplier selection evaluation model based on the mechanism equation model (SEM) and intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IFAHP). Based on a detailed literature review, 300 structured questionnaires were distributed to the relevant enterprises, and an evaluation index system of prefabricated building element suppliers was built. With the fitting and modification process using a structural equation model, and assist of a path factor, an evaluation index system for evaluating the prefabricated building element suppliers was finally obtained. Finally, the intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process was used to establish a selection model of prefabricated element suppliers, and the prefabricated element suppliers of Shuangyashan prefabricated construction projects were analyzed as a case study. The results show that the following factors have the most significant impact on supplier selection (from high to low): quality, economy, long-term cooperation, after-sales, and transportation. This study had a comprehensive consideration of the influencing factors existing in the whole selection process and should provide a valuable reference for the sustainable development of prefabricated construction engineering.

Environmental risks have a significant impact on the sustainability of subway station construction projects. This paper proposes an environmental risk assessment model based on the intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IFAHP) and set pair analysis (SPA) to deal with the ambiguity and uncertainty in the assessment. An index system for environmental risk assessment is established based on a literature review and the rough set method. Subsequently, the IFAHP is used to calculate the indicator weights to describe the certainty, uncertainty, and hesitation degree of expert decisions in the weighting calculation by means of affiliation, nonaffiliation, and hesitation. Finally, SPA, which can deal with the randomness, uncertainty, and ambiguity of the indicators, is used to assess environmental risk. A case study of two typical stations (Lushan Avenue Station and Huilong Road West Station) of Metro Line 11 in Chengdu, China, is conducted. The case study results are consistent with field surveys. The evaluation results of the proposed model are more objective and reasonable than those of the traditional analytic hierarchy process, the entropy weight method, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, grey correlation analysis, and technique for order of preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS). The research results prove the scientific validity and superiority of the proposed model.

The health, safety, and environment (HSE) risk assessment of major sewage transport tunnel projects (MSTTPs) is of great significance to guarantee sewage treatment, ecological environment protection, and sustainable development. To accurately evaluate the HSE risk of MSTTPs at the construction stage and effectively deal with their randomness and ambiguity, a risk assessment model based on the structural entropy weight method (SEWM) and the cloud model is put forward in this paper. First, an index system for MSTTPs was constructed via a literature review and expert interviews, and the rough sets method was used to filter the indicators. Then, weights were calculated by the SEWM, which is able to consider both subjective and objective factors of the weight calculation. Finally, to clarify the randomness and ambiguity in the evaluation, the HSE risk level was determined by the cloud similarity. The model was applied to the Donghu Deep Tunnel Project in Wuhan, China, and the results demonstrated that its HSE risk level was medium, which was acceptable. The index related to construction safety had the largest weight. A humid environment, improper power utilization, and sludge and mud pollution were found to be the most influential risk indicators. The risk level could be intuitively and qualitatively judged by the figure evaluation cloud, providing a vivid and rapid evaluation tool for the emergency decision‐making of project managers, and the risk level could be quantitatively judged by the calculation of cloud similarity. Moreover, through the comparison with gray correlation degree, set pair analysis, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method evaluation results, we prove the scientificity and effectiveness of the proposed model. The research results provide a valuable reference for the project management of MSTTPs at the construction stage.
