Dr. Jafar K. Lone is working as a Post-Doctoral project Associate at ICAR-NBPGR, New-Delhi-110012, India. He has received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Mangalore University, Karnataka-571232, India, and MSc. in Biochemistry from HNB Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, He is working on Plant sciences including Plant Biochemistry, Protein Biochemistry and Biophysics, Proteomics, Functional Genetics and Genomics, Protease inhibitors, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, and Structural Biology. He has received various awards and fellowships. He has published his research work in many peer-referred journals. He is also a member of the Society of Biological Chemists (IISC) India, India Science Congress Association, and Royal Society of Chemistry. He has various books and patents to his credit as well.
