Arieh Ben-Naim is a professor emeritus of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He researches biochemistry, aqueous solutions and solvation thermodynamics. From July 2008 to June 2009, he was a Visiting professor of the Division of Physical Chemistry at Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden. From September 2013 to March 2014, he worked as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, Indiana University IUPUI, Indianapolis, Indiana. In March-June 2014, he became a Visiting Professor of the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Then, in September-December 2014, he was a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Computational Physics at the University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany.
