Dr. Saurabh Kumar Jha is working as an assistant professor in the School of Engineering and Technology (Department of Biotechnology) at Sharda University, Greater Noida. He obtained his MSc (biotechnology) degree from VIT University, Vellore, and a PhD in biotechnology (neurobiology) from Delhi Technological University (Formerly, the Delhi College of Engineering). His area of interest is stem cells, and his expertise includes molecular chaperone and ubiquitin E3 ligase in neurodegenerative disorders, along with therapeutic action of biomolecules in aged neurons and muscles. He has published 22 papers in peer-reviewed and high-impact factors international journals such as JNC, JAD, BBA, APCS, GENE, and JTM (H-index 18; i10-index 8; cumulative impact factor 50; citation index is 350) and three book chapters in Springer International Publishing, AG. He has also received the “Commendable Research Excellence Award DTU, 2018” from Delhi Technological University, Delhi. Recently, Dr. Jha received the “Best Stem Cell Researcher Award 2019” from Professor (Dr.) Michele Zocchi, at the University of Turin, Italy. He has also presented more than 17 papers in international symposiums and proceedings.
