Cristina Manuela Drăgoi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She is also a member of the Romanian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences, the European Society of Endocrinology, the European Biological Rhythms Society, the International Pharmaceutical Federation, and the American Society for Nutrition. She has professional experience in oxidative stress mechanisms, in assessing drugs’ effects on biochemical markers and identifying predictive biomarkers for metabolic diseases. Her scientific research focuses on revealing the circadian entrainment actions on major physiological and pathological processes, determining its modulatory abilities on different aspects of hormones synthesis, on healthy ageing mechanisms, and on nutrition and medicines administration.
